Sydney U3A covers the greater Sydney metropolitan area. Within that area we have seven regions. All members can attend courses in any Region.
Buttons at the left of this page link to web pages with information about our regions’ courses, including changes since the Course Book was published.
Not sure which region your suburb is in? Look up your postcode on the Region Postcodes page.
Most of our venues are well served by public transport. To check the transport to a venue, search for public transport on the Transport NSW website http://transportnsw.info
COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)
In addition to the online programs, some regions are slowly commencing face-to-face activities. During the pandemic Sydney U3A is complying with governments’ restrictions on meetings and events
Courses are run in all seven regions of Sydney U3A. Details of courses in the current semester in all regions are listed on the website and in the Course Book.
Members are welcome to enrol in any course in any region subject to availability. Bookings are essential for most courses unless specified otherwise in the Course Book.
Popular courses fill very quickly, so it’s important to book early.
Course details in the Course Book include the contact details of the Booking Secretary for the course. Sydney U3A is completely run by volunteers. Please be considerate if the Booking Secretary is not immediately available.
If you need to leave a message on an answering machine, please speak clearly, give your phone number, spell your name, mention the course you wish to attend, and repeat your phone number. If you do not get a reply within a couple of days it would be wise to call again.
