Membership Fees

    • Membership of Sydney u3a costs only $85.00 per year, renewable annually on the anniversary of the date of joining
    • If you wish to receive printed copies of the two semesters’ course book as well, the membership fee is $100.00
    • Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card, cash, or direct bank transfer

Ready to join Sydney u3a?  We look forward to meeting you at any of our hundreds of courses. Membership entitles you to attend any course in any region.

Booking is essential. Many courses fill soon after our Course Book is published each semester, so book into your desired courses promptly to make sure that a place is available.

Online Membership Application

    • Click on Join online and fill in your details
    • If paying by credit/debit card or PayPal, the system will take you to the PayPal website
    • If you wish to pay by cheque or cash, print your Membership Summary, attach your payment, and either post it or take it to Sydney u3a Central Office.
    • To pay by direct bank transfer, please contact the office for our banking details.

Prefer to use a paper form, rather than the internet?

We are happy to accept membership application forms, renewals, and updates to members’ contact details on the paper form.

    • Click on New Membership Application to get the form
    • Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card, cash, or direct bank transfer
    • Post or deliver forms to Central Office, Suite 502, Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney 2000

Renew Membership

Sydney u3a encourages members to use our online service to renew membership.

    • If you have given us an email address, your renewal notice will be emailed to you
    • Otherwise, a renewal notice will be posted to you each year. You can fill in any changed details and return it to Central Office with your payment

To renew your membership online:

    • Click on the Renew Membership Online
    • Check your details, and update if necessary
    • If paying by credit/debit card or PayPal, the system will take you to the PayPal website
    • If you wish to pay by cheque or cash, print your Membership Summary, attach your payment, and either post it to Sydney u3a Central Office or take it to Central Office
    • To pay by direct bank transfer, please contact the office for our banking details.

Update Details:

    • Click on the Update Details
    • Check your details and make any necessary changes
